The Danville Public Library offers free wireless access at the main Library.
Our wireless network is called "Public Internet." There is no password.
To use our wireless Internet, your computer or device must be equipped with an 802.11 g-compatible wireless card.
The library's wireless network is not secure. Information sent from or to your device can be captured by anyone else with a wireless device and the appropriate software.
Library staff is not able to provide technical assistance and no guarantee can be provided that you will be able to make a wireless connection. The library assumes no responsibility for the safety of equipment or for laptop configurations, security, or data files resulting from connection to the library's network.
The Library provides computers with Internet access.
To use an Internet computer, you must log on with your own valid library card and PIN. You can use our Internet computers up to 2 hours each day. Children 12 and under may use an Internet computer only under the direct and continuous supervision of an adult.
